This topic is a summary of Computer components and also the most widely used type of computer hardware. Here you can learn every component of computer and its features.

The computer has two components - motherboard and CPU. The motherboard contains all other components of computer system such as PCI slots, expansion slot, video card, etc. Besides, motherboard includes the other components like power supply (PS) and memory chips, but also some other components of this motherboard are not available in motherboard. Memory chips, data plane etc. are called memory chips or RAM. These chips are connected with one another by cross-plane connectors. For example, Pentium 4 has 2 GB memory chips and it is attached to motherboard using P1 connector. So, motherboard is a very important part in computer technology. Every motherboard will always have at least one socket. A motherboard socket holds any peripheral components like the motherboard’s video card slot. In case, there are more components like memory cards and expansion slot on motherboard, motherboard socket might be unable to hold these components. As you know, motherboard socket is very old and people don't care about motherboard socket’s lifespan. Also, motherboard comes under motherboard but it's actually made for different computers. To make motherboard socket fit, motherboard socket is cut out from motherboard using jig slots. But to support motherboard and PCI slots, motherboard socket is cut by machine for each computer model. Nowadays, motherboard doesn't come without extra slots. You can see motherboard socket on motherboard. PCB Board

CPU

CPU board is the motherboard for the processor. You see the CPU on motherboard as well as from GPU. motherboard also provides some other parts like BIOS and fans which are the essential parts of computing. We can say motherboard is the basic element for motherboard and it needs to be connected together using inter-cross-plane connectors (PCI) such as PCI bus-die; PCI Express. There are two types of connector boards – ATTO and BGA. These two boards are based on metal and glass respectively and they are designed in slightly different ways. At TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), we have both boards. Nowadays, only ATTO boards are manufactured by TCL. So, motherboard should be designed for motherboard and it doesn't require any additional tools for motherboard. On the contrary, BGA boards can use only one die to mount motherboard as die of motherboard socket. That’s why motherboard socket takes place on motherboard. Note that motherboard socket is sometimes known as motherboard socket or motherboard bay.

To connect motherboard socket to motherboard socket, we need to connect motherboard socket to motherboard via motherboard socket. motherboard socket also provides ports between motherboard socket and motherboard. So every motherboard socket has two slots, motherboard socket provides two connectors while motherboard socket provides one connector for motherboard socket.

To connect motherboard socket to motherboard socket, two connectors are needed and motherboard socket has two channels which can help to connect motherboard socket to motherboard socket. Firstly, motherboard socket has a single channel, secondarily, motherboard socket has a dual channel. These two channels are mounted to motherboard socket. Then motherboard socket provides two connections to motherboard socket. This allows motherboard socket to become a connection point within motherboard socket. Thus we can connect motherboard socket with motherboard socket by motherboard socket. These two steps are called conduction and reflection. Conduction is basically connection in motherboard socket. Reflection is simply connection via motherboard socket. Reflector in motherboard socket is made by PCB chips of motherboard socket. To provide reflection to motherboard socket, motherboard socket has two channels. Each channel is connected to motherboard socket. For instance, motherboard socket can be placed in top shelf board in motherboard server so refection is provided by motherboard socket. To give reflection to motherboard socket, motherboard socket is placed in bottom shelf board in motherboard server.


CPU

CPU is the core of computer. Many different kinds of parts are using by CPU chip. Intel uses 8-core chips and 16-core chips for desktop computers. Core i5 and Core i7 are the famous models which are used for gaming applications. Though, Intel doesn't sell Intel x86 processors, but rather, it sells pre-built version of these chips. Pre-built chips are made by TSMC and Samsung. Today, Intel and TSMC use 40nm process to manufacture these chips. So they're usually thinner than their original counterparts. Due to the market and demand for the chips, these pre-built chips are made of smaller transistors. So these chips are called “precision parts”. Some of them have multiple cores. The third generation of Intel Tiger Lake comes with eight-core chips. So we can say this part is considered as multi-core. There are two parts to build a Xeon/E3. We are talking separately processor and application. We can find it in microprocessor laboratory and other company's lab. E3 stands for "Application Engines 3" as this is the core which we use for day-to-day activities of our laptops, desktops, smartphones etc. In order to produce E3 chips, we use small transistors. The chips are manufactured on 20nm process. So, it is called 5nm technology.

Let's discuss how these chips are fabricated now. First, a chip is built with silicon chips which are made up of two transistors. In the middle, the copper and graphite which is made of carbon. Copper which is made of gold is deposited in a layer on top of this. Graphite which comes in black color is formed by crystal grains which are called nanosheets. After all this, there is a thin layer on the top and bottom of the chip and it goes through several layers of metals. Then the device, printed circuit board, package, and end products are produced. Most chips have five layers.
